Shipping & returns

Every piece is wrapped in glassine, corner-protected, then boxed or crated depending on size. Anything over a metre travels in a made-to-measure plywood crate. Nothing is shipped in a tube — these are stretched originals, and rolling them would damage the surface.

All shipments are fully insured for the full sale value and tracked door to door. You get the tracking number the day it leaves.

Available work ships within three to five working days of payment clearing. Ireland is usually next-day after that; Europe three to five days; the rest of the world seven to fourteen.

Freshly finished oil paintings occasionally need another week or two of drying before they can be safely wrapped. If that applies to your piece you'll be told at the time, not after.

Prices include Irish VAT where it applies. Orders outside the EU may attract import duty or local tax on arrival, which is the buyer's responsibility — most countries apply a reduced rate to original works of art, but it's worth checking before ordering.

Paintings are hard to judge from a screen, so if a piece isn't right in the room, you have fourteen days from delivery to send it back for a full refund of the purchase price.

The only conditions are the sensible ones: let us know within those fourteen days, send it back in its original packing, and cover the return postage. Once it arrives safely the refund goes back the way it came, usually within three working days.

Commissions are the exception — but only in the sense that you approve a study before the piece is made, and you're never obliged to take a finished commission you don't want.

It is rare, but it happens. Photograph the crate before you open it fully, then email the photographs within 48 hours. The shipment is insured and you'll be refunded or, where possible, offered a replacement piece.
